4. this scan shows the finished raw markers. At this stage I put the markers aside and pick up my paints and color pencils.
The background on this one was done with Copics and just like the figure, I mostly concerned myself with getting the shapes and values in place. Working like this, you have to just go on a little faith that you'll be able to clean it up and make it look like something when it's all done. It won't always be pretty in the raw marker stage.

whats the difference between prismacolor and copics in terms of what they do on paper in your opinion?
