The second of my turtles paintings. Going to try something a little different with each. These guys are still a blast to draw. I get so much nostalgia when I work on these.

awesome work and I love the classic look. This is what they should look like.
This has a great Frazetta dynamic going on.
You might be my favorite oil painter of all time.
Rocking things as usual.
This is gorgeous and I think the oils really compliment the textures in the subject. The joy it exudes is undoubted - especially since it's a very mutual feeling among the people commenting here! ; D
Love the texture on Raph's hide. Totally digging the darkened and muted red and greens as well. Awesome stuff!
I'm a huge TMNT fan. I love it!
Great piece. Love the colors, and contrast.
I love this, the TMNT movie should have used this design instead.
amazing. The oils are looking so damn good.
Wow' this looks very cool.
This is sick! Love the lighting/shading and how it creates a really strong sense of form.
your style of painting fits the turtles so well! awesome stuff
Great stuff, Chris. definitely your own interpretation, but it honors the "classic" version of the Turtles, rather than all of these modern permutations...
Can I say there is a Corben mood in the shades and textures? Fantastic, by the way.
I wish michael bay had called you a couple years ago
This looks like some awesome art I'd get on a trading card. Love the classic feel to it, I really like the kind of 'mood' lighting you have in this one; has a dramatic feel that I associate with the original Turtle comics. Very cool.
Thanks. Yeah, the comics are what I really know of the turtles, so my inspiration for them comes from that source. It shows a lot in this piece moreso than the first. I was going for something new with that one.
Not much of a Turtle fan, but I love that!
The composition on this is utterly fantastic. I love the attention the sai gets with its downward angle; the muscle response in his hand and forearm are excellent. Love what you do, sir.
Fine work, good sir!
sweet and awesome
This is awesome.
Dayum thats great!
LOVE this!! your lighting and rendering is crazy. i wish i could have one of these!
