Finally getting caught up on scanning/posting new commission pieces.

Another commission done with mixed media (ink, markers, white paint touch-ups, white pencil crayon), this time of the classic Incredible Hulk.

What type of gray tone Markers do you use copic or prisma?
Reply
:iconchristopherstevens:
ChristopherStevens Featured By Owner Aug 27, 2009
This one's a mixture of both. I use Prismas on all my figure work and usually go with Copics for the rest. I still prefer the finish that Prismas have. Copics are a bit mottled. Both are good though.

WOW! DUDE! WTF? I so have to see step by step video of this. You should soooo post one. Im sure we're ALL so curious to how how dominate these pieces! AMAZING WORK! How do you do this with markers, but I dont see even the slightest of streaks? What kind do you use?

Streaks are easy enough to avoid..just work in circles instead of back and forth lines. Thanks.Mostly using Prismacolors for the figures. Just started using Copics for the bgs. I still like Prismas better though....I've been using them a long time.

Yeah, I usually post notices for a commission list at Statue Forum. The list I'm doing now is a small one for a few folks who've been emailing me over the past few months but haven't been able to get a piece yet. This one though, was for a fellow artist I met at Heroes. I got a commission from him and he arranged one with me:)
