Thank you for stopping by. Blenders are crap so you can save your money on those, but you can't go wrong with a set of Copics or Prismacolors. Copics are a bit cheaper in the long run with the refillable inks, but have a steeper up front cost. Good luck!
I think it looks ok. If there was ever a costume that looks great on paper and would look awful on the big screen, it's Cap's. The route they've gone is probably the only one that might work. We shall see. I do think Evans looks great as Steve Rogers.
lol I went as Cap for Halloween and had a really sweet sweater that the hood was the mask, and had a storebought shield that was authentic sized.... so I went to this halloween party and saw this dood with the blow up muscles and the tiny shield, and i felt bad for him, especially when his girl was there with him and she had the female version of the costume.... he was happy to see another cap, so that made me feel good but damn was it nice to be walking around with that big @$$ shield=]
My commissions are roughly 11 by 17 and it's a pretty comfortable size for markers. Smaller is usually easier when it comes to markers though. Never really used acrylics. I use watercolor because it's transparent..gouache would probably work just fine too, but watercolor's pretty straight forward, so I've stuck with it.
